Concentric Circles of Recovery from Sexual Addiction
It is important to have good recovery, to establish what is “acting out” and what is not. These concentric circles are used as a tool to establish, what is acting out, what is the “slippery slope,” and what are the “top line” behaviors, that is what are the things I am committed to doing to stay sober. It is through trial and error that these behaviors are written down, usually with the guidance of a counselor and/or sponsor. It is only in being honest about these behaviors that we gain lasting sobriety.
